Don't you think movie makers should start planning of making a Star Fox movie?
Hahaha, I got this idea from watching the movie Independence Day and it seemed like Star Fox when Will Smith was shooting the big alien UFO.
the game makers actually did that deliberately, as well as references to other sci-fi movies in a way that they wouldnt get sued for it.
Actually I feel highly disappointed at most movies based on vid games. Its just not the same since youre not in control and interacting yourself. And the writers often take liberties with deviations to the original storylines and characters that just waters it down.
