Spectrum Games
Is there any way of downloading/buying retro Spectrum/Amiga 600 games for the PC or PS2 (Dizzy if poss)?
Yes, definitely.
You need a program called an emulator and a file called a rom.
An emulator is software that will allow a game written for, say an Amiga's hardware, to run on different hardware, say a PC.
A rom is an image, usually a single file, of a game, taken from the original game disk or cartridge. So, say for an Amiga game, instead of having a game on a floppy disk consisting of several files, you will just have one file representing the entire game.
You can definitely get an Amiga emulator for the PC. The best one is called WinUAE. See the link to download it.
You should be able to find roms by googling, or checking torrents and p2p networks.
I don't think you can get an Amiga emulator for the PS2 though... I know you can get one for the Xbox though, that's a great console for running emulators. It's much better to have an Amiga emulator on your PC though as you will need a keyboard for some games.
