Which should I buy: FF, FFII, or Secret of Mana?

All of them have a 56% off price on the app store and I'm only getting one of them as of now(unless I can sum up another 8 bucks). Which one should I get?
Final Fantasy(the first one), Final Fantasy 2, or Secret of Mana
could you explain why?

First off.. wow SoM in the app store? Nice!

I own both FF and FF2 apps and to be honest they are both decent games that you can get good hours for. I put 15 hours to beat FF1 and 23 hours to beat FF2.

I personally enjoyed FF2 more due to the more customization you can do and better storyline.

As for Secret of Mana though, I've always enjoyed that game, it would definitely be a great game to play on an Ipod. Its an action / rpg game. Best thing I suggest is taking a peek at the (s)nes games on a youtube video and decide which one you think would be the best, and what kind of game you want.

Secret of Mana is Different from the Final Fantasy games so I can't 'choose' but out of the 2 final fantasies , I would defenitely choose 2 over 1

Secret of Mana (Virtual Console) question?

Okay, so I completed Pandora then went to the Upper Land but I was reading a guide and it said to collect the weapon orbs at Pandora, which I forgot to do. So I went back to Pandora to get them and only the Spear Orb was there. The Sword Orb was missing. Is it a glitch? Can I get the Sword Orb from a different place or do I have to start the game again?

I've been playing Secret of Mana for the past few weeks so I tried this out for myself yesterday and I experienced the same thing... sort of.

I did the same as you (went to the Upper Land then back to Pandora) and the sword orb was still there...
However, if you go to the Upper Land and defeat the Great Viper and collect that sword orb first, then the one in Pandora disappears (I'm guessing this is what you did).

I don't think it's a glitch, just that the game is programmed so that you must collect the orbs in order. You can collect an extra sword orb much later in the game but if you missed the orb in Pandora and collected the one in the Upper Land, then the one in Pandora is gone. Sorry to say but if you want all the orbs then you must restart your game...
