Nes Power
Alternative power adaptors for NES/SNES?
I'm wondering if there are any alternative (and hopefully cheaper) options for a power adapter for the NES and SNES as i currently have none. Looking on eBay they seem to go for $18-$20 + postage which is a little expensive for my tastes so i was wondering if there was some kind of universal adaptor for them
Only other power supplies i have is Sega Mega Drive II and the plugs for them don't fit into anything else as they aren't totally round (the insert)
i belive a 12v adapter should work, or if u have a sega that power cord will work too. u can find 12vdc adapter in elctric pianos, some internet modems and some other electronics. take a look around your house.
Nes Power

Power supply to a NES (nintendo entertainment system)?
I've got a classic NES but no power supply which I will have to buy. Will a standard 9 volt adaptor work or are there any special specifications?
I bought a universal adapter with different voltages for my NES. Works just fine. Just make sure you have the switch on the right voltage. Same thing goes with the video/sound cables. Just get a cable that has yellow and white ends. The white connector is for the sound, the yellow is for the video signal.
