What is the best value for a handheld GPS for hiking outdoors?
I'm in the market to buy a handheld GPS system. I am interested the Garmin eTrex Venture Cx, but I seek other opinions. What brand and model has worked well for you?

What is the book held in the Statue of Liberty on the hand?
Excuse my ignorance, but I thought the book held in the Statue Libery hand held a special significance other than perhaps the general knowledge. Tion was to represent the Bible and the Christian states was So what? Or was another book? I looked on Wikipedia, but found nothing in this regard. Thank you in advance!
