Geo Aes
what is the bit of a ps3 , 360 , wii?
What is the bit of a ps3, 360, and Nintendo wii or am I old and console company’s don’t use the word bit anymore.
For example
Nes, master system are 8-bit
Snes, megadrive are 16-bit
Ps1, Saturn are 32-bit
N64, Atari jaguar are 64-bit
Ps2, dreamcast, xbox are128-bit
So should the ps3 360 and wii be 256-bit
And the next generation console after that will be 512-bit and the next console will be 1024 bit as it always doubles well apart from the neo geo aes as that was 24-bit I think :-
game cube 128-bit
Nope dreamcast was defiantly 128 bit and for someone who works for Microsoft you don’t know you console history

Good question actually, I would be interested to know the answer to this, I still have a master system with the rectangular control pads with the built in game ' Alex the Kid'. Ahh those were the days. Only got PS2 now though, love tekken 5, new PS 3 too expensive.
As to the bit you are referring to, I think your logic seems correct but who knows.
Geo Aes

Anybody who beleives Neo Geo was worth $650 is severly retarded?
I know, it was an arcade system, and it was a tiny tiny tiny bit better than the other systems. But still, it would never be more than 6x as much money with such a slight, insignificant improvement. Anybody who actually has a brain KNOWS for a fact that SNK made a profit of over $400 for every AES they sold.
I'm assuming you're talking about the cart Neo-geo instead of the CD-ROM based console.
Actually, the price of the console makes a lot of sense because you were basically getting Quality Arcade gameplay. At the time of the release of the Neo-geo which was 1990 considering the other consoles of that time. I highly doubt the Neo-geo was only "slightly" better.
Not sure where you're getting the prices of the AES carts, but the newer carts that were released were running about $200-$300, not really really a profit of $400 as you claim.
If you take into account that an arcade cabinet at the time easily costed anywhere between $2000-$3000+, I believe that the price of the Neo-geo was pretty justified.
