Genesis Factory
Why is not the music of the Velvet Underground is considered progressive rock?
In the 60's, the Velvet Underground were part of the movement avant-garde in music - why is not this rock art for? How is the music VU is critically acclaimed but yes, Moody Blues, and Peter Gabriel-era Genesis have been criticized harshly? I think it definitely is an element of the pomp of Lou Reed, Nico, and lots of Warhol Factory. Innovation / theater Peter Gabriel could have matched the VU and the factory. Anyone care to comment ...?
I put more as the first alternative rock or indie, really. No prog. (O rock art) features typical of progressive rock are odd tempo change time signatures and / or feel long, change the song format (no verse Standard / chorus / verse / chorus / lead / chorus / a) Major changes fairly complex chord sequences using unconventional instruments mix several times unrelated styles, usually with rock (like classical or jazz) instrumental passages of prolonged use of extreme dynamics are generally not commercial considerations writing music that did not get that w / VU. Much closer to the DIY and damn the ethics of the mainstream .... as current indie rock. EDIT: Incidentally, I noticed your question about progressive rock from several months ago. I strongly suggest you get some Van Der Graaf Generator and Gentle Giant.

Can someone please give me a copy of the poem "Genesis in reverse"?
It's the environment and how humans have been destroyed. I remember the lines that sound as follows: The first day, the earth was created and it was good .... Thus man was created ... Then the man decided to build skyscrapers and factories, and the man said it was good ... The man abused his, etc etc. .. On the last day, the man had disappeared. Y it was good "I really need to thank the class I thank you. "Nothing short of Ur "...:.) evrything really really appreciate it God bless you. you!
Create reverse entries loooooooooong light before that, I decided to share a poem for the moment. The author is unfortunately unknown, but I think one of the best pieces of poetry I read. Too bad you do not use it for our English class last year. REVERSE CREATION by Bernard Backman Ultimately, we destroyed the heaven that is called Earth. The land was beautiful until our spirit moved and destroyed everything. And we said ... Let there be darkness ... and there was darkness. And we loved the dark, so we call the dark, for sure. And we're divided into races and religions and social classes. And morning and afternoon was not the seventh day before the end. And we said ... There is a strong government to control us in our darkness. There are no armies to control our bodies, so that we can learn to kill each other clearly and effectively in our darkness. And there was evening and morning is the sixth day before the final. Y told us ... There are rockets and bombs to kill faster and easier, you have gas chambers and ovens to be more thorough. And there was evening and morning is the fifth days before the final. And we said ... There are drugs and other forms of escape, because there is this constant annoyance - the reality - Which is disturbing our comfort. And there in the evening and morning were the fourth day before the end. And we said ... Let there be no divisions among nations, so we know who our common enemy. And there was tomorrow afternoon and three days before the end. And finally, he said ... Let us create God in our image. Let a God we compete. Let's say God thinks as we think, hates and hates and kills as we kill. And there in the morning and afternoon on the second day before the end. On the last day, there was a loud noise on the face Earth. The fire consumed the fashionable world, and silence. The blackened land was now the only love true God, and God saw everything that he had done, and ... in silence on the smoking ruins of God wept. Author Unknown This is essentially the opposite of what is happening in the first chapter of the Bible, Genesis 1 (the creation of the universe). It uses the same formula in his judgments, but he speaks of the destruction process instead. I'll let him speak for himself. I think that is pretty simple.
