How rare are anime music boxes outside Japan?
I bought a Rei Ayanami (Neon Genesis Evangelion) music box at my local comic/hobby shop for $20. She's wearing her plug suit and hair clips. I'd like to know how much this music box is worth, since I can't seem to find ANY on eBay. Is it rare?

Well considering the economy in Japan.., Its probably only worth $10 in Japan( I don't know the yen translation ) so in my opinion No it is not rare.

Can you buy Neon Evangelion genesis as a complete box set?
If so where? I really want to watch all episodes
Ok, here goes:
In the beginning ADV released the original TV series (26 episodes) on dvd as the PERFECT COLLECTION. Then, they decided to remaster it and called it the PLATINUM EDITION. The Platinum Edition comes in a box set, and each dvd is housed in a dvd thin pack. This is probably the best buy because not only does it contain all 26 episodes, but it also contains the director's cuts of the last 2 episodes.
But that's not all ..there's also the 2 movies that you must watch if you're an EVA fan. Most people count it as just 1 whole complete movie, but that's up for debate. They are Death and Rebirth and End of Evangelion. If I'm not mistaken it was MANGA ENTERTAINMENT who bought the North American distribution rights to them, so you'll find them as a separate box set on Amazon.
So go ahead ..buy the Platinum Edition and the Death/Rebirth + EoE set on Amazon or wherever you find it cheaper. Just remember that on September 1, 2007 --the new "Rebuild of Evangelion" movie (the first of four) is coming out. Look for it fan-subbed three or four weeks after release ...
