I have the hope of hooking a couple of old games that are no longer stored here in the U.S. or as expensive, I can not afford. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Unless I am mistaken Japenese games even if they have the same title as the American will not play on the machine without modifying it as the DVD system.Just that are regional.
