Boxed Atari
How much is my Atari Jaguar Collection Worth?
Hey guys, just looking for a ballpark estimate here, I have all of this Atari Jaguar stuff and I want to know how much I could sell it for, maybe one of you has sold a lot like this recently?
I have the Jaguar console, and The Jaguar CD add-on.
About 25 games for the Jaguar, and 9 games for the Jaguar CD. Some of the games are better than others, Primal Rage, Alien vs. Predator, Raiden, NBA Jam, Wolfenstein 3D, DOOM. A lot of the games are in the original boxes, the systems are not but I have all the paperwork.
I have a few accessories as well, 2 Three Button Controllers, a Pro-Controller, Team-Tap, AV Cords, and JagLink. All in original boxes.
So how much do you think this stuff is worth? (Yes, it all works)
You'd have to pay somebody to take that thing from you. So whatever it is, it's negative dollars. -$

Distant memories of a games console - Atari?
Hi ![]()
I remember having an ancient console game - plug and play - when I was probably 5 or 6 (so 1995ish). I know that it was old when I got it, but I'm not sure how old and I was just wondering if anyone who knows about these things, or is old enough to remember them properly, might be able to help me identify it.
The controller was a black joystick with a single red fire button. I don't think it had any markings on it, and there were no other buttons. As far as I remember it was a dedicated console, rather than having cartridge games, as I never changed it - but then, it could have been that I only had one cartridge! The games were boxing, golf, maze, fishing, a shooting thing, parachuting and probably others that I don't recall.
I've done a little bit of research and the closest match seems to be the Atari 2600, but could anyone confirm/set me right? Also, if it was the 2600, what game was this?
Thank you!
The controller matches the description of an Atari 2600 controller... unfortunately I'm not up on the software, but it's likely you had one of those 20-in-1 type of cartridges, of which there were a few released on that console. These tended to have a collection of smaller games... relatively speaking, of course, since the 2600 games were seldom terribly complex.
